FLOOR SLAB

(1) 4-inch reinforced concrete slab surmounted by another 1 1/2-inch concrete slab. A Dow-Corning impermeable membrane is sandwiched between the two slabs.

WALLS

Earthquake resistant 12-inch reinforced concrete walls placed with 3,000 psi minimum compressive strength.

CEILING

12-inch reinforced concrete deck with 3,500 psi minimum compressive strength.

VAULT DOOR

4-hour rated fire door with combination lock.

WATERPROOFING

Exterior vault walls coated with Dow-Corning impermeable membrane.

INSULATION

1-1/2-inches of insulation tacked to exterior vault walls.

SECURITY SYSTEMS

Closed-Circuit TV and infrared motion detectors monitoring all critical areas while a Central Station independently monitors the entire facility.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS

Smoke sensors in vault linked to Halon fire suppression system. Temperature and humidity controlled by mechanical system designed specifically for vaults.

BUILDING PREMISES
AND SECURITY

The three-level building is secured by infrared motion detectors and window/door electronic contacts throughout. The building is the sole structure on a three-acre tract.
